Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories and Eurofins SF Analytical Laboratories are seeking a motivated Project Manager to drive a portfolio of laboratory expansions and lab integrations. This role will report into the Business Unit Manager of our SF Analytical New Berlin business, but will spend a significant amount of time also supporting projects in our Eurofins Microbiology businesses.
Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects while serving as the main point of contact between clients and laboratory operations. Key duties include managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards; facilitating communication; tracking project progress; and handling client requirements, which may involve technical information, project updates, and financial aspects. Overnight travel will be required up to 2-3 nights per week.
Responsibilities Include :
Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery from start to finish.
Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, managing expectations, providing updates, and ensuring client requirements are met.
Track project financials, manage purchase orders and invoices, and monitor budget adherence.
Define project scope, manage timelines, proactively identify and address potential issues like scope creep to ensure timely completion.
Ensure projects meet all required quality and compliance standards, including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) provisions as applicable.
Maintain accurate project records, prepare reports, and document project communication and outcomes.
Work with various teams, including laboratory operations, commercial staff, and senior management, to ensure projects run smoothly.
