Description :

This position is for a 225-bed specialty care hospital.

The hospital offers various services, including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics.

The facility is known for being a regional leader in imaging, surgery, and laboratory services.

The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients, ranging from 18 to 125 years old.

The unit typically has a patient ratio of 5 : 1 to 6 : 1.

Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, bladder scanners, and electronic health records.

Candidates should possess experience in a medical / surgical unit.

Common diagnoses and treatments are encountered in this role.

Candidates should be prepared for occasional floating to similar units.

The dress code requires galaxy blue scrubs, with navy also being acceptable.

Fingernails should be kept clean and in compliance with the Hand Hygiene Policy.

Tattoos that may be considered offensive should be covered.

Excessive jewelry is not allowed.
