We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Naples, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity within the Real Estate and Property industry, offering the potential for long-term placement. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounts payable processes and demonstrate proficiency in handling invoice coding, ACH payments, and check runs.

Responsibilities :

Process and review invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.

Manage accounts payable workflows, including ACH payments and check runs.

Maintain detailed records of transactions and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries.

Utilize accounting software to monitor and update accounts payable activities.

Ensure timely processing of payments while adhering to deadlines.

Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to accounts payable.

Support the implementation and improvement of accounts payable systems and processes.

Provide ongoing support to the finance team with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounts payable or related finance roles.

Proficiency in invoice coding, ACH payments, and check run processes.

Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Avid Strongroom is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members.

Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.

Ability to adapt to new systems and processes as needed.
