Engineering Lead

You will be a dynamic Engineering Lead to oversee a small but high-impact internal electrical fabrication shop and electronics laboratory. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise, operational leadership, and strategic vision to support complex engineering programs from prototype through production.
Position Overview : As the Engineering Lead, you will own the daily operations, technical direction, and long-term capability development of our internal electronics laboratory. You will guide a talented team of technicians and engineers, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality electrical assemblies, test fixtures, and hardware verification efforts. Your work will directly enable critical programs by maintaining state-of-the-art lab capabilities, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred Proficiency in software tools such as Office, JIRA, etc.
Desired Skills : Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels. Technical Skills : o Knowledge of electrical and mechanical fabrication techniques and requirements o Experience with or knowledge of lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, signal / network / impedance analyzers) is helpful Leadership and Soft Skills : o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. o Ability to coordinate multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. o Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. o Experience managing small and large-scale programs and projects. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
