Job description

Title : Model-Based Systems Engineer

Status : Top Secret / SCI

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will :

  • Provide on-site MBSE support at major intelligence centers (Huntsville, Suitland, Dayton, Charlottesville)
  • Develop high-fidelity Systems Modeling Language (SysML) architecture models focused on foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrated DoDAF-compliant system architecture views and SysML artifacts
  • Collaborate with government technical leads, product owners, and agency stakeholders on system modeling and requirements
  • Produce high-quality technical and design documentation in support of system development and analysis
  • Drive MBSE standardization, integration, and best practices across the joint environment Required

Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of systems engineering experience with a BS / BA; 6+ years of relevant experience with MS / MA, and 3+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D.

    • (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)

  • TS / SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools
  • Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems
  • Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)
  • Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team Preferred

    • Qualifications :

  • Experience supporting or working within the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Familiarity with some of the following tools :

    • o Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Simulation Toolkit o RMSiS, MathWorks, CATIA, Simulink, STK

    o Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel

    o UAF / SysML, Enovia, NGTS, AFSIM

  • Demonstrated experience presenting technical updates to government customers and senior stakeholders
