• Will they take an APP or SFA when applicable? Physician only
• Who should be the timesheet approver each week?
• What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? Shadow / Orientation Candidate Parameters
• Any specific fellowships / certifications / procedures / competencies we are looking for? No – will take Family Medicine
• Experience level? EM experience will be working alone. FT ER work for the past three years with 6000 hrs cumulative Credentialing questions :
• Will emergency privileges be an option? yes
• Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? Hospital / unit questions
• Number of beds?

• How many daily admissions?
• Are there any consults and if so how many per day?
• What’s the patient population?
• Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity?
• What does the support staff look like?

• How many patients are they rounding on per day? 2 patients / hour
