About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Critical Care or strong Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit background with floating experience.

License : Active California nursing license required.

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Experience floating within Pediatric Critical Care.
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 holidays.
• Ability to work 4-5 weekend shifts Saturday-Sunday on day shift and 5-6 shifts of Friday-Saturday nights.
• Must get off one full weekend every 4-week schedule.

Description :

This position is for a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse.

Travelers must be willing to work two out of three holidays, including Eves.

This is a float pool position, requiring flexibility in scheduling.

You will be expected to float between various units to meet facility needs.

Additional support includes various interdisciplinary teams.

The healthcare facility has received awards for excellence in pediatric care.

The unit admits more than 1,700 patients a year.

Advanced care modalities such as ECMO are available.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience with critical pediatric populations.

Experience with Epic charting is preferred.

Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex pediatric patients.

You will be expected to float to different departments as needed.

Adherence to infection control protocols is essential.

Experience with specialized pediatric equipment is beneficial.
