We are seeking a Radiology Technician or Limited Scope Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail. Must be a team player.
Responsibilities
Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connectionsSet up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper resultsThoroughly document all patient services within a patients chartMaintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessaryFollow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environmentQualifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with medical charting desiredStrong attention to detail
