Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adult only (100%) Patient Volume / Census : 1215 patients per day (mix of new and follow-up visits) Admissions : Yes inpatient oncology consults and follow-ups Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General Hematology and Oncology No. of Beds in Department : 221 Trauma Level : N / A EMR System : EPIC Beacon Specialty Backup Available : APP team for inpatient coverage Support Staff Available : Inpatient APP during normal hours Reason for Coverage : Turnover vacancy (replacing departing provider) Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Workstation : Provided on-site REQUIRED PROCEDURES General oncology and hematology consultations Chemotherapy management and inpatient follow-ups Coordination of care with oncology APP team Licenses : Active MD license or IMLC accepted Board : Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology DEA : Required Certifications : BLS Experience : Minimum 3 years post-training Other Qualifications : EPIC experience required Provide outpatient clinic coverage 4 days / week (MonThurs)
