Key Responsibilities :
- Assess emergency situations to determine appropriate actions using advanced Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures—including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids—to deliver superior patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they feel informed and reassured.
- Lead the Paramedic team, managing the scene and unit as necessary.
- Drive the ambulance during 911 responses with professionalism.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and public safety personnel to provide coordinated care.
- Engage with the community through programs that enhance relationships and promote AMR's positive image.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.Valid State Paramedic License.Valid State Driver's License.Crisis certification : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NREMT-Paramedic.Driving record in compliance with company policy.Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.Some work experience is preferred, ideally in the healthcare field.Additional Requirements :
Strong physical stamina and endurance to handle the physical demands of the job.Ability to lift, drag, hoist, and carry various equipment and objects.Why Choose AMR?
