Account Manager – Raw Material Specialty Chemicals – CASE Markets Southern California
Location : Southern California (home-based with overnight travel
Responsibilities
- Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals (Additives, Pigments, Resins, etc.) to the CASE markets (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, & Elastomers) in a region that includes Southern California and Arizona. This is technical selling.
- Prospecting and cold calling to generate new business.
- Manage pricing and account strategies.
- Grow the business at existing accounts and add new accounts.
- Travel overnight as needed.
Requirements
4+ years of experience selling raw material chemicals, preferably to the CASE markets.Sales experience with a chemical distributor is a plus.Bachelor's Degree required; technical degree preferred but not required.High energy "hunter" with proven sales success in the region.Willingness to travel overnight as needed.Company Information

Compensation
Base salary : $130,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience. Plus, a generous bonus plan based on GP$ growth over the prior year. Realistic annual bonus in the 25% - 40% of base salary range; there is no cap. Car allowance. Excellent benefits. Opportunities for advancement.
