Director Data Science R&D
Highmark Health is seeking a Director Data Science R&D to pioneer the introduction of new analytical approaches and transform complex data into actionable insights. You'll be a catalyst for change, collaborating with senior leaders to implement data-driven strategies aligned with the Quintuple Aim. Essential Responsibilities :
- Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to : involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
- Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
- Develop and deliver the vision, strategy, development, and coordinate execution of Highmark Health's data science capability.
- Represent the entire Advanced Analytics group as the number one stakeholder for Highmark's analytical data products.
- Oversee delivery of novel data science use cases.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Education :
Required : Doctorate degree in STEM, Health Services Research or related field OR Master's Degree in STEM, Health Services Research, Business or related field with 7 years of relevant work experience.Preferred : NoneExperience :
Required : 10 years of Advanced Statistical Analysis + 5 years in Management and / or Leadership role + 3 years of Consulting and / or working with Senior LeadersPreferred : 3 years of Product Ownership + 3 years in Healthcare Industry + 1 year of Research and Development / InnovationSkills :
