We are hiring experienced Technicians in Southeast Tennessee & Northeast Georgia for a well-established full-service telecommunications and low voltage integration company.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and servicing of a wide range of low voltage and IP-based systems across commercial, industrial, and healthcare environments. Responsibilities Install, service, and maintain :
- Fiber optic cabling infrastructure (including OSP and industrial) Copper network cabling to workstations IP video surveillance systems Door access control (card readers, electric strikes, maglocks) Nurse call systems and wander management Distributed overhead paging and mass notification systems Corporate conference room and hospitality AV systems Sound reinforcement and Area of Refuge (AOR) systems Fire alarm integration IP phone systems and video intercoms School bell and paging systems Install conduit and support infrastructure for cabling Perform minor line-voltage electrical work (e.g., adding wall outlets) Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety standards on-site Communicate effectively with team members and clients Accurately document work performed and materials used Qualifications Preferred Experience : Prior experience with installation and servicing of low voltage systems Comfortable working in commercial, educational, and healthcare environments Certifications (a plus, but not required) : OSHA 10 / 30 or other safety training Aerial lift operation BICSI, AVIXA, CompTIA, or manufacturer-specific certifications Trade school or collegiate coursework in IT, electronics, or related fields Other Requirements : Must pass a state-mandated drug test (required before start) May be subject to background check depending on project Tobacco-free policy : All work environments are tobacco-free Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Supplemental life and disability insurance 401(k) with profit sharing 7 paid holidays (after 3 months of employment) 12 days of PTO (after 6 months), with additional PTO increasing with tenure Ongoing training and continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment with a commitment to quality and safety Powered by JazzHR
