Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Medical Lab Scientist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days, evenings Employment Type : Travel Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Blood Bank Location : Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046 Assignment Type : 13-week contract Shift : 1 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM (includes every 3rd weekend) Local Radius : No local candidates within 50 miles Position Overview We’re seeking an experienced Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the Blood Bank and Core Laboratory team at GMC. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory procedures with precision and accuracy, supporting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Qualifications Required : Minimum 2 years of experience in Blood Bank / Core Laboratory. Current certification from one of the following : ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS. Proven experience in Chemistry and Hematology testing. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field. Preferred : Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Note : Only Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) candidates will be considered. Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will not be accepted.
