Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering design projects from concept through completion.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, blueprints, aerial photography, and geotechnical data to plan and design projects.
- Assess and identify collection / distribution system performance issues and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, engineering cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Perform hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation planning, pump station design, and treatment process engineering .
- Review designs for quality, accuracy, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations .
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Attend client meetings, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications
Required :
5+ years of professional engineering experience in water / wastewater design and project management.Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, MS Project, and Microsoft Office .Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred :
Professional Engineer (PE) license.Experience with municipal, county, or state government projects.Knowledge of heavy construction methods and environmental facility operations.Why Join Us?
