About the Role :

The Supervisor-Laboratory at SCMC plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant testing services. This position is responsible for managing laboratory personnel, coordinating workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality control and safety. The supervisor will collaborate with clinical teams and other departments to support patient care through reliable laboratory results. Additionally, the role involves implementing and monitoring laboratory protocols, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Supervisor-Laboratory ensures the laboratory functions efficiently and effectively to support the organization's healthcare objectives.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or equivalent credential.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a laboratory environment preferrable.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
