Manthey Hospitality is currently looking for a General Maintenance Technician. This position shares responsibility for all maintenance and construction style projects including building, fabricating and painting, as well as general repairs of facilities and assists with troubleshooting issues with equipment. This individual will report to the Port Engineer and work alongside our maintenance and marine crew members.

Responsibilities

• Safety first; use all safety precautions when completing daily tasks including but not limited to personal protective equipment, harnesses, scaffolding, and ladders.
• Daily general handy-man style projects.
• Build and fabricate following instruction of team lead.
• General maintenance on vessels, offices and docks.
• Paint surfaces according to specifications using brushes, rollers, and paint spray guns.
• Assist with general duties as necessary. This includes moving equipment, furniture, and cleaning area.
• Help keep work area and all equipment inventoried and organized.

Day shift Monday - Friday. Some weekends may be required to finish projects and get vessels back into service.
