Job descriptionEvaluate each emergency call to determine the most effective response in accordance with Paramedic protocols. Employ advanced medical techniques and equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to deliver necessary care. Engage with patients and their families to explain procedures and reassure them during emergency situations. Lead the Paramedic team on the scene and manage both the emergency situation and the ambulance unit. Safely operate the ambulance during emergency responses. Work collaboratively and professionally with public safety officials and healthcare personnel. Participate in community outreach programs to enhance AMR's reputation and foster community relations. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Valid State Paramedic License Valid State Driver's License Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic Driving record in compliance with company standards Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test Some relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare Paid Shift Differentials Enhanced Holiday Pay Paid Training Paid Wellness Days Generous PTO Accruals
Salary Range : $73,394.83 - $112,102.00 depending on experience
