About The Position
We are seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Dec 1, 2025. This role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, and is ideal for candidates experienced with outpatient GI and procedures such as paracentesis. Board certification in Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (A-GNP) is required, along with active CA licensure.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide outpatient gastroenterology care, including patient assessment and managementPerform paracentesis and other GI-related procedures as requiredCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient careMaintain accurate and timely patient documentationComply with all relevant protocols and regulatory guidelinesAdditional Information
Current and unrestricted CA Nurse Practitioner license requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification requiredBoard certification in Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (A-GNP) requiredExperience in outpatient GI settings strongly preferredBenefits
