Assembly Technician

We have partnered with a leading medical device manufacturer based in Rochester, NY, specializing in innovative solutions for healthcare professionals. They are looking for an Assembly Technician to play a vital role in assembling sub-assemblies and equipment, following technical diagrams and other written and verbal specifications and work instructions. Responsibilities :

• Adhere to all prescribed safety guidelines and regulations.
• Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical, optical, and electrical / electronic assemblies / sub-assemblies.
• Utilize hand tools, assembly fixtures, test equipment and meters, and computerized fixtures.
• Inspect incoming parts and evaluate against specification documents.
• Observe and test for defective materials or parts, reporting to supervision immediately.
• Clean and prepare parts for assembly.
• Test for defective material, reporting immediately to assembly supervision.
• Maintain the work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Record test and assembly specification results into the records retention system.
