We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Los Alamos, NM areas to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

Coverage needed :

12hrs shifts, Sun-Mon & Thu-Fri 8am- 8pm, Wed 8pm-8am

3 visits a week after 1 : 00 PM, 9 hours per visit

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patients residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA / CNA, patient, and case manager.

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
  • Assist with the patients activities of daily living as well as personal care.
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
  • Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
  • Maintain records and documentation of services.
  • Communication with the patients family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must be a CNA
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to monitor vital signs
  • Dependable transportation
