Job descriptionPlan, organize, and deliver effective physical therapy programs. Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of clients affected by injury or disease. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for administering physical therapy interventions. Document client information accurately for evaluation and treatment planning. Educate clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises for home care. Incorporate current research into daily treatment practices. Participate in departmental activities to promote the Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health. Supervise assistants, aides, and students in providing care and treatment. Provide ongoing education and training to peers in your areas of expertise. Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers required or to be obtained within the first 60 days of employment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset in Mandan, ND.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients recover and improve their mobility. Your expertise will be essential in treating long-term care residents and short-term rehab patients facing various conditions, including :
- Neurological conditions
- Orthopedic issues
- Balance, falls, and gait challenges
