Pay : $24 - $34 per hour
Location : Greater Louisville, KY area
Schedule : Monday - Friday 7pm - 4pm with overtime

Position Overview
The Forklift Field Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting lift truck service call issues and performing repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment based upon customer demands as directed by the service dispatcher or manager. This position must also promote service maintenance programs and the company in general, and provide high quality service to ensure an optimal customer experience.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on lift trucksIdentify root causes of equipment malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic toolsPerform preventive and scheduled maintenance in line with company proceduresAccurately document all repairs and maintenance performedOperate lift trucks for testing and performance checksCollaborate with dispatchers to plan daily work efficiently and maximize productivityCommunicate with parts and sales teams to meet customer needsMaintain a clean, organized service van and manage inventory of tools and partsUphold professional appearance and customer-facing communicationEnsure a clean driving record and operate company vehicle safelyDemonstrate good judgment and personal attitude, which are essential to maintaining our company reputation for results orientated service, good will and professionalismPerform other duties as assigned by manager / supervisorQualifications
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum one to three years' relevant experience and / or training preferredExcellent mechanical aptitudeKnowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and general equipment operation theory preferredAbility to read and interpret electronic and hydraulic diagrams and schematicsExceptional customer service skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordApply now to join a team that values quality service, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction!
