Snow Removal - Seasonal

What's the role?

The Snow Removal Technician removes snow to maintain buildings and grounds for our properties for our REMS and Secure Storage affiliates. We are seeking candidates for a part time seasonal role based in Baraboo to support our Sauk County area facilities. Duties include :

• Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events
• Clear snow from customer sites from designated areas
• Pile snow in designated and approved locations only
• Operate vehicles and snow plow equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures
• Control ice accumulations at jobsites with the safe and responsible use of de-icing agents (salt, treated salt, liquids or other de-icing chemicals)
• Hand-shovel or hand-treat site areas as required (walkways, doorways, fire equipment, etc.)
• Perform basic maintenance and small repairs on vehicles and equipment as needed
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment.

What's the schedule?

This is a Seasonal part time position offering a flexible schedule. Hours may vary from 8 to 32 hours per work depending on workload and availability.
