Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. In the US, we now cover half of all e‑commerce volume and have access to nearly all buyers. Our mission, as part of the Merchant and Platform Engineering team, is to grow affirm’s revenue by helping merchants and partners acquire and retain valued customers with industry‑leading, innovative Buy Now Pay Later POS checkout experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Provide day‑to‑day support for technical questions from external partner stakeholders
• Lead the development of project plans by driving solution designs, timeline forecasting, task breakdown, and testing strategy
• Develop integration support material and documentation for new product rollouts and feature updates
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and revenue leadership to build out partnership roadmaps
• Serve as an overarching SME and point of escalation for internal and external teams facing technical challenges
• Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication with external partners to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables while fostering strong, long‑term relationships
• Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination, share insights, and drive projects to successful completion while maintaining open and constructive communication
• Provide feedback on integration strategy, potential product enhancements, and operational workflows

Employees new to affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for you and your dependents).

USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year : $190,000 – $240,000

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year : $169,000 – $219,000
