Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med / Surg Telemetry or medical surgical telemetry unit

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and clinical support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Educate patients and families on care plans, health management, and post-discharge instructions

Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and healthcare staff
