About The Position

ID : 72916962 Shift : Days The week would consist of 4 / 10’s (0700-1730) or 5 / 8’s (0700-1530) depending on the week need / Description : This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.Performs nursing care of the catheterization / angiography patient. Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers / ICD s, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures. Scrubs in for procedures with the physician (not required, but preferred)Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets. Submission requirements : This position is listed as Cath Lab, but the expectation is that they would also be helping to cover and provide nursing support to our IR procedures and pre / post procedure care.Cath Lab Experience -RequiredInterventional Radiology experience -Highly Preferred1+ Years of experience in Electrophysiology -Highly PreferredCardiac Rhythm Interpretation Highly PreferredKnowledge operation of intraaortic balloon pump -Highly PreferredProfile HistorySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two yearsCandidates' Permanent Address(Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction) OnCall : UP to 12 shifts a month and holidays would be only for call coverage (AHA),BLS (AHA) Guaranteed Hours : 40 Contract Weeks : 91
