Computer Aided Design Technician

Overview

Insight Global is seeking an experienced CAD Technician for our client, a key partner in the pharmaceutical sector, based in Easthampton, MA. This CAD Technician will create detailed CAD drawings of products with client-requested modifications and create engineering packages for manufacturing. This includes routing sheets, bill of materials, engineering change orders, quality control documents, and assembly instructions.

Base pay range

$75,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Create and edit blueprints, routing sheets, and other technical drawings required for the manufacturing process.
• Translate initial ideas into detailed designs using specialized CAD software.
• Work with other engineers, operations staff, and other stakeholders to gather and organize technical information.
• Update existing documentation and improve accuracy and usability.
• Ensure documents adhere to company style guidelines and technical standards.
• Resolve system and design issues by resolving documentation gaps.
• Reviews and verifies project requirements for completeness, format, and compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
