The CNC Router Operator is responsible for the successful and efficient operation of all CNC routers, while maintaining order and delivery of cut parts to the carpentry team. InProduction provides a creative, collaborative and professional atmosphere working on a wide variety of projects working with a very diverse group of craftspeople / artisans, clients and vendors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret router files
• Oversee cutting strategies to maintain precise cutting and bit life
• Strategize the best use of new and remnant materials
• Load and unload sheet goods onto router bed
• Clean, trim, deburr, and collate finished pieces
• Maintain machines according to the maintenance schedule
• Communicate problems and progress to technical management
• Assist other departments when time allows
• Maintain a safe work environment
