RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work 12.5-hour shifts : 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Assignment length : 13 or 26 weeks
• Must have 2+ years ICU experience
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Must be proficient in hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines
• Experience with ventilator management required
• Strong critical thinking skills essential
• IABP and CRRT exposure preferred
• Meditech charting and order entry experience preferred
• Care for post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients
• Work with various cardiac support devices including IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• Device training will be provided by the hospital
• Must float to other units as needed per hospital floating policy
• Documentation system : Meditech
• Dress code : Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
• Must badge in / out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break
• Clock-in time by 6 : 38 AM / PM (6 : 45 AM / PM considered tardy)
