The CBH Events Assistant is role is responsible for :
- Managing and planning community event sponsorships from start to finish - coordinating, organizing and representing CBH Homes
- Developmenting and maintaining relationships with area sponsors and community members through community events
- Coordinating, communicating, setting up, working and taking down company and community events
- Managing and completing event checklists
- Event Layouts - planning and executing
- Sponsorships
- Company Culture - maintaining a positive / fun working environment
- Booking vendors & coordinating arrival and departure timing
- Organizing storage areas & swag
- Production of art pieces - printing, trimming, assembling, sorting, delivering
- Loading and unloading event swag and equipment up to 30 lbs
- And much, much more fun along the way

A successful Events Assistant will possess the following skills :

Typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, though this varies based on the statement above.Is dependable. Meaning rarely late for work. The type of person that if you say you'll be there at 8 : 00 am, you're there at 7 : 45 am, ready to go.Is always pushing to get things done. It's important that you like to take responsibility, and your main focus is always delivering results.Is organized and can handle multiple projects at onceComfortable with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google CalendarKnows how to handle email like a bossEnjoys supporting multiple departments and is capable of communicating expectations and deadlinesHas a friendly, professional demeanor.Has excellent written and verbal skills, an eye for formatting within written communication, tact and poise within interpersonal communication.Is highly organized and detail-oriented.Is great at anticipating what might be needed and what is next.Owns a professional wardrobe.Is okay with change.
