Job description

Position : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift : Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Location : Florida

About the Role

We are hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts with rotating weekends in an acute care hospital setting in Florida. This position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus along with a full benefits package and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures

Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient needs and treatment responses

Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosol medication, and chest physiotherapy

Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation

Monitor patients and respond to emergent situations requiring resuscitation

Support safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients

Qualifications

Experience level flexible; new graduates welcome (must have passed boards or be awaiting licensure, no prior experience required)

NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate s or equivalent)

BCLS within 30 days of hire

ACLS within 6 months of hire

PALS within 6 months of hire

NRP within 6 months of hire
