Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Radar / Electronic Warfare Computer Engineering Section Manager to join our team to lead a diver's team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The candidate should have experience in providing leadership as well as helping grow a multidisciplinary engineering team to address diverse technical challenges for members of the Sensor Innovation Portfolio and its customers on real-time radar / electronic warfare systems and subsystems. These challenges include firmware / software development, system integration, system testing and evaluation, and the supporting of field-testing operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• The candidate filling this position will be located at Leidos main campus in Huntsville, AL and will serve as a reporting manager for a team of 6-8 technical staff including computer and software engineers.
• Work with a wide spectrum of personnel including executive leadership, program managers, chief engineers, technical staff, business development, and functional organizations across the Leidos enterprise to provide :

Technical direction for maintaining and expanding software / firmware codebases for radar / electronic warfare sensor systems including real-time system architectures and signal processing algorithms.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
