Travel MRI Technologist

Location : Pittsfield, MA

Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Schedule : Monday–Friday, Days

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM (8-hour shifts)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Weekends : Part of shift schedule as needed, holiday coverage if required

On-Call : Possible call

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts . This role is ideal for a technologist who can work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment while maintaining a strong commitment to patient care and imaging quality.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders

Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment (GE systems)

Screen patients for safety and contraindications

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards and infection control policies

Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for optimal patient care

Equipment

GE HDXT 16.0

GE HDXT 23.0

Patient volume : Approx. 9 patients per shift

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience – REQUIRED

ARRT (MR) certification – REQUIRED

GE MRI equipment experience – REQUIRED

Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

BLS certification – REQUIRED (AHA preferred)

Strong communication and technical skills
