Environmental Technician

While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in :

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience conducting asbestos inspections, asbestos project monitoring, lead paint inspections, lead risk assessments, and mold inspections. Experience conducting indoor air quality assessments, Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments, environmental sampling (e.g., drinking water sampling, soil sampling, etc.), exposure monitoring and / or other industrial hygiene related work is a plus. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and be able to successfully pass a background check as clearance requirements for access to Federal facilities may be necessary and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Licenses & Certifications

• Asbestos Building Inspector (VA, MD)
• Virginia Asbestos Project Monitor
• Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor (VA, DC, MD)
• NIOSH 582
• XRF Analyzer Trained
• CMI, CMC, and D.C. DOEE Mold Assessor license
• other licenses / certifications will be considered.
