Position : Labor & Delivery RN

Location : Lewes, DE (near Delaware Bay Beaches)

Shift : 12-hour rotating | Every other weekend

Facility Details :

Level III Trauma Center / Level I Perinatal Center

180-bed hospital

Unit : 6 LDR rooms, 6 postpartum beds

Births per month : 60–80

<5% high-risk births

Role Details :

RN cares for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients

No scrub / circulate duties for C-sections

Float : Possible to sister unit (NAS babies or mother-baby couples)

Ratios : Labor : 1 : 1–2

Mother / Baby : 1 : 3–4

Requirements :

2+ years recent L&D experience

Certifications : BLS, NRP, EFM (required); Baby Friendly (can complete onsite); STABLE preferred

Charting : Cerner | Meds : RxStation
