Summary : A Customer Delivery Driver for Capital Electric is responsible for checking and loading material onto truck, delivering material to customer or Capital Electric branch in a timely professional manner, and forming positive customer relationships to ensure the correct material reaches the customer while maintaining the reputation of providing a reliable and accountable delivery service

Responsibilities : Check material in staging area and load truck Create shipping manifests Perform truck maintenance inspections Deliver material to customers and / or Capital Electric branch locations Drive truck defensively, cautiously, and respectfully to various locations Unload and place material where customer requests Provide good customer service Pick-up customer returns Unload truck of customer returns Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision Be on time and work diligently with co-workers Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications : 2 years driving experience 20 ft. box truck

Must be able to pass the DOT physical No prior traffic violations or license suspensions for one year Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
