Job descriptionAbility to read & follow SOPs, MSDSs, safety rules Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus) Comfortable being on your feet & lifting up to 25 lbs Willingness to work with biological specimens (blood, urine, fecals, biopsies) Prior laboratory or diagnostic experience Background in Biology, Vet Tech, Vet Assisting Experience in high-volume environments

Shift : Tuesday–Saturday | 4 : 00 AM–12 : 30 PM OR 5 : 00 AM–1 : 30 PM
Our client in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Lab Associate to join their dynamic, fast-paced lab environment. This is a great contract opportunity with one of the most stable, innovative, and growing organizations in the veterinary diagnostics industry.
🔬 What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing laboratory analyses and running diagnostic test protocols
- Processing specimens & retrieving / releasing test results
- Supporting instrument testing for new / existing products
- Managing inventory and maintaining overall lab cleanliness
- Handling data entry, recordkeeping & administrative support
- Assisting with scheduling, shipping, and customer service activities
