Position responsibilities :
- Prepares invoices / credits from vendors for payment by :
Verifying accuracy through written approvals
Researching variancesAnalyzing exception issues to determine correct resolutionCommunicating effectively with internal and external resources for informationManual processingInvestigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders related to product costingResearches and resolves distribution center shipment receipts against invoice costingReconciles vendor account statements and maintains open transaction tracking for auditAssists Accounts Payable Manager / Supervisor to identify and implement process improvementsPosition requirements :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least two years of related experience or training in a high-volume accounts payable role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.Ability to consistently follow company standard operating procedures.Ability to do repetitive work and work under tight deadline pressures.Ability to maintain organized work processes, materials, and files.Johnstone Supply is strongly interested in hiring a great candidate that exhibits work behaviors & values that are conducive to building and maintaining a strong and effective company culture.
