Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year at a K-12 educational setting located in Cypress, TX. This contract role offers an opportunity to work directly with students, helping them develop essential communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to tailor interventions for student success.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote holistic development.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation consistent with district and state policies.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required for SLPs and Clinical Fellows).Valid Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will receive mentorship.Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) must hold current Texas licensure.Commitment to working with school-aged children and fostering a positive learning environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Location :
