Job Description

Support by 2 APPs who help with admissions (approx 10 / night), cover ICU, codes, etc.

Procedures / lines provided by inhouse General Surgery residents

Intubations provided by ER / Anesthesia

ICU is open but managed almost exclusively byrenowned Pulm / CC service

CC services provided in-person during days & via tele CC at night

Tele Critical Care service provided by enowned Pulm / CC program & coordinated by APP

Tele-Hospitalist service provides cross coverage as needed

7 on / 7 off schedule, 12-hour shift

Description :

Physician will treat hospitalized patients from admission through discharge, conducting history and physical assessments, strategizing to improve and / or manage patient health, and attempting to reduce their length of stay through safe medical practices and recommended treatment plans.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

BLS, ACLS Certified

Must qualify for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
