Independent Insurance Agency seeking a Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of small to medium-sized commercial lines business. The agency will require the commercial lines account manager to respond to commercial client calls / emails about policy and coverage questions and consult with clients on policy changes. This account manager will be responsible for providing timely and professional day-to-day client service working closely with the producer.
Will be responsible for the following :
- Working knowledge of Property and Casualty accounts such as Restaurants, Retail, Property Management, Contractors
- Provide continuous client service for a commercial insurance book of business
- Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions
- Market account renewals with minimal supervision
- Market new business accounts with minimal supervision
- Rate accounts online with various insurance companies
- Service account on day-to-day basis including processing renewals, issuing certificates, invoicing
- Serve as main point of contact for agency and provide expert risk management advice to clients
