Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT and BLS certifications plus Level 1 Trauma experience for a weekend, 3x12hr shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital setting

CT department with varying caseload depending on shift and location

Performs CT scans; Siemens equipment experience required

Shift consists of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM

Rotation for holidays is required

On-call rotation with staff is expected

Floating to sister facilities within clinical scope may be necessary

Epic EMR is used; prior experience preferred

Responsibilities include conducting CT scans for a wide variety of patient caseloads in an acute care setting

First-time travelers will be considered if they have previous experience

Previous employees, including PRN, must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before eligibility

Scrubs required : teal top and black bottom

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application for manager approval

Radius rule applies : candidates must live over 60 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility; locals considered at a lower rate

Parking available for a one-time $20 fee for nights and weekends

Completion of onboarding modules required prior to start

Potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

Requirements

Current BLS and ARRT RT(R)(CT) certifications required

SCRQSA (R)(CT) certification required

At least 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required; 1 year of total experience preferred

Experience working with Siemens CT equipment necessary

Radiation badge required; must be supplied by the traveler’s agency

License required if applicable

Must provide SSN and driver's license for consideration

Cannot start with a pending state license; must have active license at time of assignment
