SUMMARY :

As a Clinical Nurse Leader, your strong ability to lead and clinical expertise serve as valuable resources for staff mentoring and delivery of quality patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Leadership & Management . Assume responsibility for overseeing nursing and non-nursing personnel on a unit; function as a unit leader with the ability to act as a resource (both clinically and non-clinically) for nursing personnel, physicians and providers; delegate appropriate responsibilities to assigned nurses and ancillary personnel; assess clinical expertise of nursing personnel, monitor assignments and provide feedback and documentation
• Patient Care. Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patient; demonstrate clinical judgment in responding to priority patient needs; communicate and document assessment of patient; develop and document plan of care, treatment and services; communicate with the patient / family and interdisciplinary team; ensure patient receives and understands education specific to their needs and abilities
• General Management. Perform daily leader rounding and assure team members are regularly rounding on all patients; develop programs and strategies to monitor the quality of patient care and patient outcomes; assist Nurse Manager in developing and implementing long-term staffing pattern, personnel needs, budget negotiation and recruitment plan

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
