Job descriptionWorker has secure internet / Wi-Fi access at home Worker has a laptop / desktop computer / MAC at home Does the candidate have a Smart phone that has Biometrics capabilities? (The phone can read your fingerprint.). As per the guidelines, the phone must be equipped with a high resolution camera, Fingerprint Scanner (Touch ID) and / or Facial Recognition. In addition, Mobile device must support Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) on Android or Secure Enclave (SE) on iOS devices (Error Message if your mobile device is not compatible) and meet the below minimum mobile device operating system (OS) requirements. For Iphones - iOS Version 16 and 17 (enforced policy) For Android devices - Android Version 11, 12, 13 (enforced policy)
Job Title : Payroll Tax Specialist
Pay Rate : $28 / hr. W2
Desired Start Date : ASAP
Contract duration or end date : 12 months
Workload : Full Time 40 hours a week
Office Location : Hybrid / Nashville (2-3 days per week in office)
Overtime required : Potentially
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field.
- 5 + year of relevant payroll operations experience
- Knowledge of payroll systems (ex. Ceridian, ADP)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Good understanding of US payroll tax including federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Knowledge of gross to net payroll calculations and processes
- Ability to create and run reports and perform detailed analysis
