Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Manager for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operations.
Shift : Days
Manager, Nursing Unit is responsible and accountable for the daily operations. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.
Experience required : 3 years : Registered Nurse, Healthcare Management - Clinical Practice Care must have previous supervisory experience and BSN.

Unit Description : The Sentara CarePlex Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed medical-surgical ICU with eICU monitoring. Our patient population includes COPD, CHF, R / O MI, respiratory failure, GI bleeds, pancreatitis, renal failure, liver failure, multiple organ failures with or without sepsis, and surgical populations, with vascular and ENT surgeries being the most common.
