Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance.

• Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
• Conduct repairs on transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC units.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Execute alignment adjustments and brake repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks.
• Qualifications
• Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively..
• Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 – 50 per week
