Versa-Tags is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Artist to join our team! The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and brings strong technical skills, creativity, and precision to every project.

What is a Versa-Tags Production Artist?

As a Production Artist, you'll use your creativity and tech-savvy skills to make our customers' dreams a reality. Our Production Art team has an eye for detail and design, and has a vast knowledge of the various print capabilities we use to help create eye-catching and accurate artwork that is ready to take to print. You'll work closely with other departments to find the best material and print option that will both meet spec and exceed our customers' expectations. You'll need a working knowledge of graphic arts/design and technical skills, and with these skills you'll be able to work within our technology to develop effective and efficiently-created artwork.

What does your day look like?

• Produce excellent and accurate artwork to varying print capabilities and specifications.
• Perform quality check that aligns with the customer's need, proofed for spelling and accuracy
• Develop a vast working knowledge of Versa-Tags' differing materials, print styles, and capabilities.
• Reformat supplied artwork and photos to create print-ready designs, dies, and rip files.
• Work closely with all departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Produce content within the deadlines specified.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to develop customer art within print specs.
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with PC Platforms and the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of printing processes, file preparation for print, or manufacturing workflows is a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project needs

Preferred:

• Experience in a print production, manufacturing, or agency environment
• Familiarity with large-format printing, packaging, or digital asset management systems
