We are a growing 2 doctor practice with state of the art equipment. Digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, in house lab equipment, surgical ligasure machine and new laser therapy. We see many sick patients, can hospitalize if needed but also see many wellness / preventative visits. You can think of this practice as a general practice with some ER and internal medicine. We are willing to mentor to help your skills grow. We just finished a building expansion. Our facility is beautiful. We are a fun loving group of people who likes to joke around while we work and to have a good time.

HOURS FOR THIS JOB Tuesday and Fridays 7 : 45 am- 6pm and 2 Saturdays / month 7 : 45am- noon; get 2 Saturday's off each month. There is a 2 hour block mid day to catch up on charting and get time for lunch. We believe in work life balance to help prevent burn out in the profession. A typical day would include a block for 2.5 hours for appointments in the morning, a 1.5 hour surgery block prior to lunch and then a 2.5 hour appointment block in the afternoon.

We are looking for a person who is passionate about animals and dedicated to the veterinary field. Our hospital is currently seeking a veterinarian to join our organization and have the opportunity to provide medical care for sick and injured pets. The successful candidate will be competent in surgery\

, nutrition, neurology and infectious disease, and will also be required to complete paperwork and conduct regular consultations with other veterinarians and animal specialists.

Responsibilities :

Care for medical needs of animals.

Prescribe medication for animals when needed.

Care for sick and injured animals.

Perform surgery on animals as needed.

Be acquainted with animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior.

Provide information to the public about pet care and behavior.

Advise breeders on proper care of their animals.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Expected hours : 20 - 26 per week
