Job Summary :
New Mexico Solutions is looking for talented psychotherapists to work with adults, children, and families in our outpatient clinics and treatment foster care programs. Therapists are responsible for providing individual, family, and / or group psychotherapy in a fast-paced Community Mental Health setting. Diverse experience in substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed interventions is preferred. Must be a team player. 2 years post-grad and / or bilingual a plus, but not required. Paid by the billable hour. Clinical supervision for licensure is provided.
Newly Licensed Therapists
New Mexico Solutions is a top-notch training ground for newly licensed therapists. Here they are given one of the best and most comprehensive opportunities to increase their knowledge, skills, and abilities in treating a variety of client populations and clinical areas of practice. Through this exposure many clinicians are able to develop multiple areas of clinical competencies in treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Experiences are available with children and adults, and with persons with chronic mental illness. In-house clinical supervision from excellent state leaders in clinical services is provided at no cost to the Therapist. Multiple opportunities for increased income potential. Includes but not limited to the following NM licenses : (LMHC, LMSW) Provisional or Temporary license is accepted for hire.
Independently Licensed Clinical Professionals
New Mexico Solutions is the ideal work environment for independently licensed clinical professionals. Clinicians have a high level of autonomy. They may choose their clinical areas of practice and the placed on a clinicians areas of expertise. Mentor newly licensed clinicians. Variety of opportunities for increased income. NM Solutions is a National Health Service Corp site so independently licensed clinicians can qualify for loan repayment program. Includes but not limited to the following NM licenses : (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc)
Minimum Qualifications :
- M.S., M.A., MSW, or Ph.D. degree in human services or health-related field.
- Will possess one of the following New Mexico licenses : Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
- Any candidates who can meet the state requirements to provide clinical services within their field will be considered.
